There are many different ways to approach massage therapy, ranging from beauty oriented spas, to corrective bodywork, sports massage and spiritual healing. My approach is to integrate the mind, body and spirit. I deliberately operate a very small business, focused on the needs of individual clients. I customize treatment to whatever is needed at that specific time. I have an attitude of compassion, kindness and a sense of humor. I truly love my clients and my work, but am able to remain detached enough to be effective as a facilitator of healing. If you need prayer, I am glad to pray with you. I believe the best massage is in silence, but at times silence can be unbearable for some individuals, so if you need quiet conversation or a little humor to take the edge off of a stressful day, I can usually help diffuse the intensity with kindness and gentle laughter.
I believe God made us with wonderful capabilities to heal in the most amazing ways and the beginning of healing is in our mind and spirit. This life here on earth as pretty tough and as a result, toxic emotions are oftentimes locked up in certain areas of our body and essential oils and massage can help release those emotions. Healing is an ongoing thing. It is like layers of an onion. As you get to one thing, you can deal with the next.
I feel that healing is a calling on my life and I approach massage and aromatherapy from a Healer perspective.
